Collection: Whale Shark

The whale shark is the largest fish in the ocean and can be found in warm waters other than the Mediterranean. Every whale shark has a unique pattern of stripes & spots on their skin, similar to a human's finger print. Whale sharks are filter feeders that process about 6,000 liters of water an hour through their gills eating small fish, shrimp & plankton. They can grow up to 65ft in length, weigh up to 20 tons and live to be 150 years old. Whale sharks are slow swimmers, averaging 3mph.
